Biography

I was born in San Leandro, Ca and lived in Hayward until I moved to Manteca where I currently live now. I started CrossFit the day after I graduated high school in 2013 after my friends told me to come try it out. My favorite work out is anything body weight and I hate anything with Wall Balls. My favorite lifts are the snatch and split jerk. I hate to deadlift, like I hate it a lot. As far as my personal life goes, I work out about 9 times a week and am a full time student at CSU Stanislaus so when I’m not doing that I’m either hanging out with my girlfriend, watching anime, or playing Call of Duty. Before CrossFit I was focused on football. After my first CrossFit work out, Fran, I thought I was going to throw up, pass out, and die but I loved it. My goal I want to accomplish is to be an American Record Holder for USAW and get my masters in education. CrossFit has affected my life outside because now people always ask me to help them move. The advice I’d tell the newbies to Resident CrossFit is not to be shy, we are a fun and social gym! As far as advice on the workouts….embrace the pain. I don’t have any favorite pump up song, I like to change it up a lot. I even go without music at times. I don’t have a specific favorite cheat meal but if there’s one thing I can’t resist it’s definitely chips and salsa. My fun facts are that I am a huge Dragon ball Z/Naruto fan, I am in the top .04% for Call of Duty in the world, and that I own the PWA record snatch for the 62kg weight class.
